The Speaker of the National Assembly is calling for greater cooperation between the parliaments of Seychelles and Portugal.
Nicholas Prea made the appeal during a meeting with the newly accredited Ambassador of Portugal to Seychelles, Maria Amelia Paiva this week.
Ambassador Paiva commended the National Assembly on its progress and on the good governance and stability that has been promoted in the country.
Speaker Prea also highlighted other areas including Blue Economy, Maritime Museum and Fisheries Sector that could be further developed between the two countries.
