‘Lantannyen Fey’ is a native palm that grows quite abundantly in the Caiman watershed found in the Anse Boileau district. The area is a project site for the Ecosystem based Adaptation to Climate Change project (EBA). The watershed consists of one of the most important fresh water sources for the south of Mahé and its surrounding forest plays a crucial role in protecting this precious water source.
