This year is the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day (1918-2018). The termination of the First World War (1914-1918) took place on November 11, 1918 at 11am when a truce was signed in France. Seychelles lost over 300 men in that Great War. Every year, a ceremony is held on November 11 at the Mont Fleuri cenotaph in remembrance of those men. TONY MATHIOT tells the story of that War Memorial.
