Anti-Money Laundering Bill, 2019 and Beneficial Ownership Bill, 2019 explained | 20 January 2020
The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Bill, 2019 and the Beneficial Ownership Bill, 2019, are scheduled to be gazetted this week for consideration by the National Assembly, following the cabinet of ministers’ approval on Thursday December 26, 2019.

Assembly approves merits of the bill, debate continues
The National Assembly yesterday started deliberations on a new Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Bill (2020), being pushed forward by the Ministry of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning.
