Allein am Montag kamen bis zu 25.000 ins Land

We have gone to very great risk to edit that SIROP platform and the topic of 1st Francophone Conference in Versailles - the Cold War, the Europe, then French government it Nuclear weapon, then President F Mitterrand. With our freedom to say what we think the vast majority today cannot fathom - what this spell 30 years ago. You do not become involved, entangled with France Nuclear capabilities, military workings, greater Nation politic unless you are totally mad, you have been elected or have due reason/rights. Much more topics which would change the role and position of France in Europe politic, the world and African. The vast majority in Seychelles who just cannot comprehend/grasp those/such dimensions and would just comment. "As they say in French be it ancient France and today you have to be in the ..... wallowing then you will know. We have been there". When President F Mitterrand decided to set that Francophone Agenda for Versailles and then France very much more unique and powerful role in Europe and the world only those who worked and lives the issues will remember. We had trashed our that a Germany Reunification what this would spell for France and President F Mitterrand his Minister were not amused - it had to be done and the utter/brutal consequences. Nobody in his right mind - be it those who became famous in the past undertake such workings and challenges alone - they are compel to work with many entities, officials and Institutions - this is what we did and in the middle to be polite for the public the Illuminati Institutions to differentiate between the Church. Because right across the EU high Institutions everybody chose to forget/become blinded by what mechanism really challenged and worked to change Europe at to what the media and those EU Officials have written as history run/took a massive risk on my life and health. There were/are filth in their even the European and French or International Court would not like to listen/hear. Individual like President FA Rene and those from the African Francophone who ruthless use aspect of it to eliminate, get rid and just kill others they detest and meddle in their affairs. No Police, no military or Court/Justice involvement. In Paris this morning the reaction towards that/those pictures of the first Francophone Summit and the next 4/5 after. Much more important in Vienna the situation this morning - the Pan European Union Institutions, linking Networks and personalities - then Dr Otto Von Hapsburg in Austria/Vienna then President and Chancellor the issues they had to work//handled and it would never get in the media or the pubic relating to this SIROP program and the changes in Europe, the USSR, the COMECON and the War Saw Pact. Just one Day/Monday 25,000 exile/refugees entered Vienna it is much worse. That would be the exile population of Seychelles in one Day. In Addressing those two topics the high speed railway connection between Europe and Africa and the new Francophone vision under the Mitterrand era what this spell. Africa, Europe, the Gulf Region we were not supposed to have landed in the utter and super mess we have landed in - this were not envisaged/planned and concept-ed/engineered that way. In very High Interdisciplinary Management functionality what this really means. The concern be it Germany and all those who were massively involved in that SIROP program, Austria and France - the current attitude of those in office with authority. Before you decided to arrest my person get specialist in High Interdisciplinary Management - no entity, system is can be expected to use such terrible benchmark and expect not to be seriously affected right across the board. For many years without posting it on the big bell and mainstream media we have led and worked some of the most important thematic in Europe and the world- some 30 years and more. The vast majority of the world population just will not and do not understand what this means. It is and have been from this position in many instance we have come forward and offered our view and shared what we can do and cannot do/achieve. < We have many friends, acquaintance, very high political connections and close families in Vienna, the police and other who monitor our communication, telling them we can and could have resolved this mess differently and they choose to do nothing and just ignore our message. World/citizens of Europe what does this mean and the conclusion one ought to arrive at. > Had we take money form our pocket and undertake actions/solution finding as we have done in the past the respective attitude. We cannot go on like this. Had we to write/address in public what we have done for the Austrian nation, economy, system and institutions there would be a scandal - we do not need the official media to support and share it with the world. ( This morning we read of Senator Schwarzenegger taking the TV Program of somebody we know ad have worked for many years - the very Senator how he got in Office and the many political issues and the situation in Austria today - they/he chose to forget.ignore a TV Program is much more important. Where is Mr Niki Lauda - We will be very blunt we are not a Homosexual we have our faith/belief gone are the days of our youth we ran after every skirt and looking for goodies. International Day for Democracy

15-September-2015
Workshop discusses good governance and accountability

To commemorate the International Day for Democracy usually celebrated on September 15, the Citizens Democracy Watch Seychelles (CDWS) organised its first annual multi-stakeholder training workshop on ‘Good Governance and Accountability’ being implemented as part of the US embassy’s speaker programme.

The workshop, held yesterday at the Care House, brought under one roof representatives from all the political parties of Seychelles, policy-makers and practitioners from the government, private sector, media agencies and civil society.

Organised in collaboration with the US embassy, the workshop was facilitated by Alexandra Wrage, President and Founder of TRACE International and TRACE Incorporated, two distinct entities with a common mission to advance commercial transparency worldwide.
The overall objective of the workshop was to provide a platform for constructive dialogue with a view of exchanging views and clarifying key concepts as well as develop delegates’ capacity to contribute to the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

The delegates focused on the impact and the global cost of corruption to businesses, communities and development and democratization. They talked about the ‘Top Ten’ enforcement trends worldwide; risks and consequences; learned more about demand-side bribery: tools and initiatives to prevent and uncover bribe demands (e.g roles of media, FOIA-like efforts, whistleblower hotlines, etc…) and about supply-side bribery: how companies engage in bribery and how to thwart them.

Eline Moses, chairperson of the CDWS, explained that “there were and still are lots of talks about corruption and sometimes we do not even understand the full consequences. Our strategy is to make citizens take part actively in the affairs of the country and CDWS took the bold step to bring all stakeholders together to talk about this issue. After a training we attended this year in Addis Ababa where Seychelles signed the UNCAC, we wanted to bring all those concerned on board. This is just the beginning and CDWS will try to have this type of workshop annually.”

Ms Wrage is the author of Bribery and Extortion: Undermining Business, Governments and Security, co-editor of How to Pay a Bribe: Thinking Like a Criminal to Thwart Bribery Schemes and the host of the training DVD Toxic Transactions: Bribery, Extortion and the High Price of Bad Business produced by NBC. She speaks frequently on topics of international law, anti-corruption initiatives and the hidden costs of corruption.

Ms Wrage formerly served on the Independent Governance Committee (IGC) of the Federation International des Football Association (FIFA), football governing body.

Talking to Seychelles NATION, Ms Wrage was quite impressed with the very diverse and sophisticated group of delegates.

“The afternoon session was particularly interesting. People were very engaged and the debate was lively. I was encouraged by the group’s willingness to discuss sensitive issues. The three areas of real concern seemed to be: political transparency and funding of elections; transparency around public procurement and transparent hiring and promotion processes for the civil service. At the same time, there was a sense that – based on Seychelles’ relative affluence and stability – much can be accomplished.

“Some goals discussed included a youth education programme to ensure the next generation values transparency; a challenge to political parties to voluntarily disclose the funding information they currently provide to the Electoral Commission and continued exploration of best practices in public procurement, including the possibility of implementing existing e-procurement technology. It is important for citizens to remain engaged and optimistic and to value incremental change. All challenges cannot be addressed concurrently, but progress can be made steadily. Starting on the path is the key,” said Ms Wrage.

Ms Wrage was named one of the ‘Canadians Changing the World’ by the Toronto Globe & Mail and received the 2014 Women in Compliance ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Service to the Compliance Industry’.
