Explosives, when transported across land or sea, are strictly controlled, especially when shipping in containers. There is plenty of paperwork, and flammable materials must be transported again in a secure environment. So, if these explosives arrive securely, and every case transported to the site is secure before unpacking , so CCCL could do their blasting one or two days before, how did the explosives become insecure in one container? Only negligence in handling the explosives after use would, I believe, lead to this man-made disaster in a residential area around the CCCL quarry! Weren't these guidelines sufficient enough for the Commissioner of Police to follow through with the same security like they have when transporting these dangerous materials to our shores? (The police force in the Seychelles is a national body which falls under the control of the National Commissioner of Police, who is appointed by the President subject to the approval of the National Assembly...)
Now let's look at this from an economic point of view and ask ourselves, if Providence has been blown up along with CCCL, where is a lot of the budget going to come from? We have less than half of the business now in Providence to pay tax, and now the government has lost a source of revenue. Who is going to pay? How are you, as the LDS/US government, going to ask these businesses to pay out a 13th cheque? How are all you government officials, including the President, going to openly accept your bonuses when your negligence led to this disaster! You have had your begging hands out from day one of your election. Who wants to give more to incompetence?
I am still in shock to think if this had happened at 9 in the evening or 7 in the morning! I CANNOT IMAGINE!
Sabotage is the negligence, and this all comes under the President and his executives/Ministers and the National Assembly.
The only lesson we in our tiny country have learned is that the LDS/US proves its incompetence by the day!
Common sense is far from your mind, island boy!
It's time you damn well woke up and stopped being a, what were your words...a sensationalist?
Who's head, in your government is going to roll because of this? Who’s resignation are you asking for? Because if you don’t you yourself are negligent your team has failed you yet again wake up! ""
