During the years of 1977 to 1991 FA Rene and SAJ of Mauritius were good friends - however Mauritius was not a Republic - I we had done some work with both of them until that SIROP program writing in fact among the many others who had supported that program - on account previous work experience and knowledge of Indian ocean politic and workings Mauritius, Madagascar, Comor Reunion and Seychelles - It was President FA Rene and my person who pressed SAJ at the time stressing because Mauritius was not a Republic like Seychelles they were handicap and we pressed him to go for the Republic and yet what he /they write all of them this does not make pleasant/friendly relation. SAJ was the PM at the time F A Rene announced return of Multiparty.

Just like those in Seychelles who turned round and ruthlessly abused, exploited that program for their ends and then invent, what drove and influence their national economics.

Mauritius used to take a great of it political and economic cues form UK and obviously still do to certain extent, in which case they ought to grasp the dimension of the Britexit debacle - since they cannot and its media addressing our prospective here.

Many times we have stressed that Program is still driving and impacting many aspects of EU Economy, Russia, china, Africa and Asia yet those in Mauritius reaction.

Tonight as he settle in the residence of the PM and desk would like to remind him - we in the Indian Ocean have had/done some great cross nation collaboration - Dr Navin Ramgoolam got into big trouble over this program - whatever the Justice and media will write. That SIROP program is not going to walk away -it would be wise if he did not follow the footstep of his Father after having striped, creamed off and extracted as much as he could from that program deny it ever existed.

We have a forthcoming Presidential coming and the outcome and impact on Mauritius.
