Tight safety for weekend’s races

● Today’s mass event called off
The preparation was well under way yesterday

Everything’s set and ready for this weekend’s Fina open water marathon swim world series and the swimmers should by now be prepared to plunge into the sea at Beau Vallon to contest the races.
Unfortunately, the organisers decided late last night to scrap the mass event scheduled for today and this is due to bad weather.
