Today in the European Parliament we invited the European Commission to propose a massive recovery and reconstruction package. We have achieved a positive result on recovery bonds, which we have long been asking for: it is an instrument guaranteed by the Community budget, widely shared, and which will therefore be more effective than the exceeded Eurobonds proposed by the Greens but impossible.
