(Seychelles News Agency) - Seychelles Minister for Environment and Energy, Professor Rolph Payet has been appointed the new Executive Secretary of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm Conventions by the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Announcing the appointment in a press statement this afternoon, State House said Payet will contribute to the implementation of the mandates and missions of those three conventions including the formulation of their overall strategies and policies.

“He will also act in an advisory capacity to the UNEP Executive Director and the Presidents and the Bureaus of the conventions as well as their subsidiary bodies,” reads the statement.

We ask everybody to remind Minister Dr Rolph Payet of the importance/relevancy of SGS  Societe General de Survillance workings - Messrs Harry Savy and Co Ltd in Seychelles is their officials representative. ( We got to know of SGS as they are known working then as a young Speditur  - Seychelles  - Custom/Beau Vallon Properties and Casurina Estate,  our own company  Island Packaging and Forwarding - their Office in East Africa and before that as a child going to East Africa. We worked for them for 1979 and over the years the high corporate contacts, involvements with mergers and expansions - they are a Jewish entity. At least use to be.

Their counter part is the French Veritas.

As long as Dr Rolph Payet remembers/pay's due note to the workings of those two leading world Institutions his work will be good/adequate. Equaly our greater EU and World workings -
