Jean-Pierre Pernaut left us at the age of 71 years old.
This TV presenter held a special place in the hearts of the French and had on many occasions our beautiful territory.

It is with great pain that we learned of the disappearance of Jean-Pierre Pernaut.
All the teams of TF1 Group share the pain and grief of his family and loved ones. Television loses one of its greatest journalists, TF1 a family member. He incarnated the 13H newspaper edition of TF1 for more than thirty years, an unequal longevity, rewarded with the public's flawless loyalty. In this, he was part of the family of all French.
Jean-Pierre, was also and especially a man of character, passionate, sincere, committed, warm, in love with his profession, writing teams like his audience.
He will be terribly missed.
