Comment - We had known and been aware of certain linking issues between Bramer Bank, the Rawat and the Parkar Family/ Star Knitwear - when we started addressing the issues on our two community forums - the Parkar Family in Mauritius and Friends who know of our forums and our respective comments on the Rawat Family issues. Beside those in Seychelles who know. Beside our terrible stews in Kent the past 27 years - what we have written and addressed. The environmental and dreadful mind set we were in this morning still we came forward and contributed/they Whys.  

Just as we get the garbage of FIFA, the many other complex mechanism out there which make the world and society works yet those so call officials and experts. We formed an important part that the Parkar Family settles and restarted their respective life in Mauritius. Mr Parkar and Mrs Oliajhi helped us formulate - belonged to individual who helped us formulate that SIROP program.

The point being we had gone to Portsmouth to address Seychelles government current Minister of Finance, the 29th SPPF/SPUP/PL Congress and the local election in Mauritius, the Parker Family know Seychelles very very well and old Zanzibar connections - We had sat in the Town Hall Function area, all those who saw me there and was working and those who came. The reason I/we had chosen Portsmouth was the important issues/associated work with then PM Blair government - how we managed to attract very significant Arab investment to Portsmouth  and the large infrastructure rebuilding and the Housing Project - much more than that,  the decision by PM Blair to allow the construction of the Tower in the Portsmouth Port - beside the Refurbishment of ancient ships and modern British Nay issues/Defense. These are not light topics - when  we addressed in public we had known and have known a great deal more what had been happening in Mauritius. We expect the Parker Family to do their Research - because close by are the families of old Zanzibar and PM Blair did not know everything - the Somerset Family, those from old Seychelles, Mr Ali Parker knew of then very well. Back in the 1980's when the Parker Family decided to seek exile in Britain then Mauritius - we could have been bitter we choose otherwise and supported them were we could. We want to address Mr Ali Parkar publicly  and the many in Mauritius - within that SIROP  and that FECAS- ECSVS Portal we have the capacity to manage and drive, rebuild business form the scrap yard/hip.  We are currently driving Many aspect of Mauritius business, government decisions and economic issues.  Yet Mr Parkar choose to turn his back on our person - has this turn into a personal vendetta. Mr Parkar know we have global management responsibilities affecting importantly the Muslim world workings and the Arab world if we choose to use/apply them.

Beside the above said - the Parker Family Mr Ali Parker was a very very close person of the Family/entourage - how across the world human/people society/civilization and culture treat/respect such workings. Whatever/irrespective of Age. Above all how they should have treated my person as they tread one of their own children today man and woman and they have Family responsibilities. When this is not done, not just my person and so more when high responsibilities is involved - however minimal the responsibilities it caused pain/grief, hurt, disunity and a great deal more. The Family and close ones is made to pay in the ends and the younger generations/ older folks suffers.

This Monday Morning after the 29th congress of the SPPF/PL/SPUP we have come forward - because we are concern.

We ask/request those who can/care point our thread to the Many Policing authorities in Mauritius, your Central Banks , the government Ministers and Oppositions. Beside the Administrators.

Mr Ali Parker is a good Lawyer he should contact Mr Philippe Boulle - draw up a contract/document stipulating working modalities - we would be prepared to help - we never make offers we cannot keep unless he to is scared of PM Jugnauth. .

Textile: un magnat sud-africain reprend Star Knitwear

Herman Pillay est celui qui tentera de refaire briller les étoiles de Star Knitwear. Ce magnat sud-africain, engagé dans le textile, l’hôtellerie et l’audiovisuel (CNBC), a repris l’entreprise, mise sous administration de Deloitte en août. Il est CEO de Trade Call Investment (TCI), groupe qui pèse plus de Rs 160 milliards de chiffres d’affaires.

L’accord porte sur le rachat de l’usine familiale des Parkar à Coromandel pour un montant qui est gardé secret pour le moment. Les principaux créanciers de l’usine, la Barclays Bank, la Banque des Mascareignes, l’AfrAsia Bank, la National Commercial Bank (ex-Bramer Bank) et la State Investment Corporation sous le Stimulus Programme, ont déjà donné leur feu vert à l’offre de TCI proposée par les deux partenaires du cabinet d’audit, Jean Noël Wong et Twaleb Butonkee.

L’accord final, qui sera signé le vendredi 30 octobre en présence des principaux dirigeants du repreneur, protégera l’emploi de la totalité des travailleurs, soit près de 1 500.

Niveau d’endettement massif à Rs 1,2 milliard

TCI, à travers son cluster textile, participera majoritairement au capital de Star Knitwear alors que la famille Parkar y conservera une part minoritaire. Une des priorités du groupe d’Herman Pillay sera bien évidemment de recapitaliser la compagnie qui est fortement sous capitalisée suivant son niveau d’endettement massif se situant à Rs 1,2 milliard. Le capital social est, lui, seulement de Rs 75 millions.

TCI, qui est détenu par un syndicat des travailleurs de textile, le Southern Africa Clothing & Textiles Workers Union, compte transformer cette usine sur la base d’un nouveau business plan que le cabinet d’audit a déjà travaillé. D’ores et déjà, c’est une nouvelle équipe de direction qui sera à la tête de l’usine d’ici la semaine prochaine. Certes, si un représentant de la famille Parkar siégera au sein du nouveau board, il sera difficile en revanche de parier si Ahmed Parkar y conservera son poste de CEO.

Pour sa part, Herman Pillay, dont la base d’opération se trouve à Cape Town, brasse visiblement large avec des intérêts dans une brochette de secteurs. Désormais, le textile mauricien aura à compter sur cette grosse pointure sud-africaine qui a déjà un pied à Maurice.

Comment - We have also read at L'express the business climate in Mauritius and in UK/Europe - From our exile/refugee Community business prospective wish the Parkar Family good fortune - the mega battle they fought from start to this day - we wish the new owner and Management our very good wishes too. Now it would not be us if we did not say this - South Africa is a very important partner of Sechelles Seychelles - however small our contributions the change over form apartheid to the current South African government - we have contributed to untold/related to the giant of South Africa Nelson Mandela life and his fight and families.
