5.12.1994 - Budapest Memorandum
In the Budapest Memorandum, Russia, the USA and the United Kingdom affirmed the sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as security guarantees.
In return there was ua. Ukraine is getting rid of its nuclear arsenal.
