‘Nation’s health quite alarming,’ says VP Afif
Last Wednesday, the cabinet was briefed on the nation’s health and health services. The presentation made by high officials from the Ministry of Health included updates on the Health-in-All-Policies approach; non-communicable diseases; health security; substance abuse and services; and health system and health services. They all revealed that the social determinants of health play a very important role in the state of health of the people.
