Queen's 90th birthday: Prince William pays tribute

Prince William has answered criticism of his commitment to royal duties, saying he is willing to take on more responsibility when the time comes.

He was speaking in a BBC interview in which he paid tribute to the Queen on the eve of her 90th birthday.

She had been a "guiding example" of what a good monarch should be, he said.

Meanwhile, a picture of the Queen, the Prince of Wales, Prince William and Prince George, for stamps to mark the monarch's birthday, has been released.

The Queen at 90: Charlotte and George share the spotlight in official portrait

On the day she reaches the age of 90, the Queen puts the future of the monarchy front and centre in an official birthday portrait by Annie Leibovitz.

On her lap is the newest addition to the Royal family, 11-month-old Princess Charlotte, while two-year-old Prince George, the future king, stands at her knee.

The Queen also chose to share the spotlight with her three other great-grandchildren Mia Tindall, aged two, who was given the responsibility of holding the Queen’s handbag; Savannah and Isla Phillips, aged five and three, and her two youngest grandchildren James, Viscount Severn, aged eight, and his sister Lady Louise Windsor, aged 12.

Strangely we lost our Black Labrador - Dracko last week his funeral and those involved in killing him. All those great English who must have know the Queen 90th Birthday was coming - that dog/Labrador for 15 years have supported our Heraldic/Heraldry working and such topics/thematic related to the Royal heraldry/Heraldic of the Country and the British Royal Family. Including Annus Horibilus incidents.

We have lived in Britain over 30 years do not need/require to start any scandal along the line of Princess Diana Butler and others - safe, the manner and approach the so call English people comport and act and live. We could have addressed issue which would shock the world we have not. safe to say on this day of Her Majesty 90th Birthday we have been saddle with a plank as they say in creole and a very bad plank and her influence on our son and those in the House we must function and celebrate this special historic occasion as her good buts dictate. ( Freeking dementia/CJD/Satanic posses human)

On this Day those who can will go in the pub to celebrate, get a piece of meant and a piece of cake - we have none in the place and our request to go with is to the super market - "she must go to the hospital in her dark blue car"- those who understand such mentality and thinking in this England.

This is the madness we have been saddle since we had to take our son back in that house after the disastrous new start of his life.

Prince George stays up late to meet President Barack Obama and wife Michelle

Prince George took on the biggest diplomatic challenge of his young life last night when he was allowed to stay up late to meet the leader of the free world.

The two-year-old, in his pyjamas and dressing gown, was waiting for President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle when they arrived at Kensington Palace for dinner.

And he immediately charmed them by playing on a rocking horse given to him by the Obamas for his first birthday, and with a cuddly toy dog they had sent him as a gift when Princess Charlotte was born.

Mrs Obama is reported to have asked if she could meet George and Charlotte during the couple's current visit, and while Palace staff said they were unaware of such a request, the Obamas' meeting with the future king was clearly a highlight of their trip.
