Seychelles plans to install Africa’s first utility-scale floating solar project
The project will be located on the lagoon at Le Rocher, in the district of Les Mamelles (cceonlinenews.com)
(Seychelles News Agency) - Seychelles is planning to install Africa’s first utility-scale Floating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system on the sea, said a top official of the Seychelles Energy Commission.
The chief executive officer of the commission, Tony Imaduwa, told SNA on Monday that this project will inject clean and green energy into the island nation's electricity

Over the past 15 years have raised the issues of CERN then 1987, the ambitious program/ideas to develop clean energy source to replace nuclear, coal, and fissile energy. As part of that SIROP program, those who knew the issues then White House of President Reagan, USA energy politics and future development.
In Seychelles part of that SIROP program beside the eventual fossil /gas and oil exploration the development , building solar energy capacity system some 30 years on some of the Nation small projects and the $10.5 million lagoon project involving the Clinton Foundation.
Sir James Mancham often pointed out that we were not diplomatic enough, our view it was not Sir James Mancham who concepted that SIROP program his associates were bent on Military change . It was my person who go President F A Rene to accept this program and he was a very very difficult customer as they say.
Talking of diplomacy Seychelles and my person finding the Clinton involved in Seychelles energy issues, our address to the Truth Commission etc., the White House of President Clinton and that SIROP program and Europe and he Indian ocean, his decision to strengthened/beef-up the CIA Budget to $22 billion after the Cold War what ensued, Europe leading politicians major concern. We have pointed this topic to President Clinton and numerous high parties in Europe and the USA.
