Validity of Mathieu and Simon Bachmann's Seychellois citizenship in question



An investigation is expected to start within the Seychelles Swimming Association (SSA) as to why and how two French swimmers, Mathieu and Simon Bachmann, were recommended for a Seychellois citizenship by the association.

The investigation will also look into the various deficiencies which allegedly exist within that association as well as the running of the swimming pool area.

This proclamation came after a half-day discussion in the National Assembly yesterday surrounding brothers Mathieu and Simon Bachmann who gained Seychellois citizenship on June 15.
