Cuban doctors meet to discuss research - 17.12.2008

The Cuban medical brigade in Seychelles held a scientific forum recently at the Cuban Embassy at Bel Eau.


During the meeting, which was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Seychelles Maria Aida Nogales, medical research and case studies were presented and debated.

The forum was led by head of mission Dr Yamile Acosta Pérez and was dedicated to five Cubans imprisoned in the United States.

The Cuban medical brigade in Seychelles includes surgeons, doctors in general medicine and experts in cardiology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatrics, orthodontics and paediatrics.
