Mixed reactions to business award

Judging from the reactions of various attendees and company representatives, the 7th Annual Business Awards event hosted by the SCCI (see accompanying story) was met with mixed feelings from both the business community and some of the paid guests who attended the Gala and Awards evening.

A number of participants at the Gala said that compared to last year’s event held at Eden Bleu Hotel, they felt that the way the evening unfolded, the overall ambiance and the buffet menu at Avani Resort & Spa were rather short and lacking in terms of choice, variety and quality.
