Seychellois and Russian businesses discuss opportunities

Seychellois and Russian business representatives are since yesterday discussing present and future business opportunities. This is being done through the first Seychelles-Russia Business Forum to be held here.
The three-day forum which falls in the context of Seychelles Investment Bureau’s (SIB) investment initiative is being held at the Eden Bleu Hotel at Eden Island under the theme ‘Many nations one language’.

It was officially launched yesterday morning by the Minister for Finance, Trade and Investment Pierre Laporte in the presence of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Vladimir Belous.

Comment - We have addressed very many issues abut Sechelles Seychelles former USSR and Today's Russia relation. Why we have landed in a quasi Cold War - the workings of then USSR Intelligence compared to today.
In then cold War had we had the media we have today and write - they would have taken it very seriously. The Seychelles Exile/Russia relation is at a very low.
That Ukraine situation should/could have been avoided when you think and look at the wealth many Russian posses - it was not not stopped - The new Russia nation needs to learn those who helped/contributed importantly that this modern Russia have come to exist can and will play a very crucial role in that Russia of the future.
It was not vast wealth and riches/power and opulence that changed the COMECON and the USSR it was brain/intelligence/knowledge and wisdom.
The global meltdown of 2008 our travel to Seychelles a former Soviet/communist bastion and whilst there those in Russia who called for a gathering of those who judge the world needed an alternative Economic and Financial model - Today BRICS
