Michel Rocard, le président empêché

L'ancien Premier ministre, chantre d'un socialisme exigeant et moral, est décédé samedi. Il n'aura jamais pu faire valoir ses idées à la présidence.

On ne l’entendra plus bougonner de son phrasé saccadé contre le court-termisme et l’inconséquence de ses contemporains. Hospitalisé à la Pitié-Salpétrière, Michel Rocard, qui restera notamment comme le père du RMI et des accords de Nouméa, est mort ce samedi à l’âge de 85 ans, des suites d’un cancer qu’il combattait depuis plusieurs années. Marié trois fois, il était le père de quatre enfants. Depuis juin 2007 et une hémorragie cérébrale lors d’un voyage en Inde, puis un malaise au printemps 2012 lors d’un congrès à Stockholm, il était apparu de plus en plus éprouvé physiquement, mais nullement émoussé intellectuellement. Sa récente interview fleuve à la une du Point l’a encore démontré, lui que François Hollande a fait il y a peu Grand croix dans l’ordre de la légion d’honneur.

Incontestable homme d’Etat, Michel Rocard restera comme une figure singulière de la gauche française, héros de la deuxième gauche, et une voix familière de la France de ces cinquante dernières années. Un homme du siècle dernier mais résolument tourné vers l’avenir, passé, sur la scène politique, à côté de son destin ou en tout cas de son dessein présidentiel. Un intellectuel mêlant vie des idées et découvertes scientifiques qui, jusqu’au bout, aura participé au débat public. Avec un goût pour la complexité et en profitant de la liberté de ton de ceux qui n’attendent plus grand-chose car ils ont déjà beaucoup accompli.

Comment - Excuse us for writing this comment in English 9.56 PM UK time - 15 minutes ago we put a pot of garden Strawberries to cook to start the Jam making process.

We had been to paddock Wood, the first world war monument, the British Flag, the duchess of Kent opened the Business Center and the Masonic Lodge there and the pictures we posted about European Transport Politic and the SIROP in the light of Britexit.

At about 7.45 said prayer to end Sabbath - the second since the Britexit Referendum and went to collect the Strawberries we had/would have made some Jam for independence Day too stressed with the Britexit debacle - harvested then today got two bucket full - had requested for some replacement of our Hobbit DVD we have left in France put them behind the Strawberries and took some [pictures.

Brought them inside and cut the heads and washed them - those from Seychelles our great ancestors Property Capucine, the local and black families who know what is going on there-   those who went on they have taken my share of the property  and those who butted in and that we could do nothing and do not come to Seychelles they will harm us  - on and on it went.

We put France 24 live Francais and heard the news that former PM Michel Rocard had died at 93 years - my involvement in term of High Interdisciplinary then,  President F Mitterrand and his government  - things we have not written and talked about.

Our condolence to the French nation, his families and associates.

We will call this Jam Michel Rocard Jam 2016
