14th overall spot for Jean-Marc Gardette

Praslinois surfboarder Jean-Marc Gardette could only manage a 14th place finish at the recently-held annual Pattaya International Windsurfing Cup, organised by the Windsurfing Association of Thailand.

The competition, which was held alongside the Thailand Windsurfing Championship and took place in front of ‘Surf Kitchen’ restaurant at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya city in Chonburi, was also being hosted by the Pattaya city Windsurfing Club and the Pattaya City.

In his 10 races at the regatta, Gardette finished 11th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 15th, 11th, and 13th correspondingly for a net total of 129 points.

The event was dominated by the Korean trio of Lee Tae Hoon, Kim Hyung Kwon and Kim Chan Eui who clinched the top three spots respectively.
