The President of the Republic, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan, has appointed Ms. Cindy Wirtz as the new Deputy CEO of the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC).
Ms. Wirtz first joined SBC in 1995 as a journalist and presenter where she worked with both TV and Radio news.
After dedicating 12 years to the Corporation, she proceeded to pursue a career in communication and marketing at the Mauritius Commercial Bank for 3 years.
In 2010, she returned to SBC and occupied the position of Sales & Marketing Manager, now Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, where she remained until her new appointment.
Ms.Wirtz has a Bachelor’s Degree in Television and Radio from the University of Salford in Manchester, UK. She also has a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), as well as a Diploma in Leadership and Strategic Management from the Brighton School of Business and Management.
Her appointment takes effect today 1st February, 2021.
