In past time those elderly British Politicians who had difficulty to come to grip with such issue in spite of what the media wrote - had we/my person not been in Britain, PM Cameron would not have been in Office and he would do well to write on a wall somewhere and the battle with the British economy and the so call economic revivals. The important role we have played - each time we have undertaken an action to process our exit how this have impacted the media and what they wrote regarding the British economy and employment.

Over centuries and decades all those who have played a key or crucial role in human affairs and development - they have gotten old, had to move on or get removed and what ensued. pour person is no different.

Safe we would like to say this when anybody gets/become involved in the Historic Project we have in this country, in Space and science and we have to move on - this will impact the country , the people and politicians.

2nd June 2015 - over the past 3/5 years have requested and approached families, acquaintance to help me with my Housing/relocation - I need a place with a lift.

We had known for some time former the Leader of Liberal Party - MP Charles Kennedy, headed that organisation/UK Chapter and talking of the Flat in Islington then Mrs Mary Powell Mayoress and she managed the Liberal Office in Islington. The Law Firm Hopkin, Murray, Beskin and then Lawyer Mr Ben Chataway and his associates handling our Housing File. The manner those MP and Political Leader choose to deal/sort out our Seychelles issues, nation wise or private.

We are addressing personalities like Mr Paddy Ashdown, Mr David Steel, leading personalities in the liberal party and the former Deputy PM Mr Nick Clegg those who ought to know otherwise and yet.

The news, he passed away this morning age 55 years old - we addressed the issues of FIFA and those who got angry, we contributed to his election and supported many of his issues then PM Blair and PM Gordon Brown later. He was in contact with the SNP Seychelles too. Where do we go from there - Trust the many authorities and officials will be pointed our thread.

Seychelles presents initial state party report

The Seychelles delegationThe Government of Seychelles attended the 23rd session of the UN Committee on the Protection of the Rights of all Migrant Workers and Members of their families to present its Initial State Party Report under the ‘Convention on the Protection of the Rights of all Migrant Workers and their families’.
The session took place on September 2-3, 2015 in Geneva.
Seychelles became a party to the Convention in 1994, with the instrument entering into effect for Seychelles in 2003.
One of the obligations under the Convention is that Seychelles should report periodically on the implementation of the provisions of the Convention.
The reporting process is an important process that allows Seychelles to assess itself on the areas in which it has made progress, and to identify the short-comings and challenges that may exist.
Leading the delegation representing Seychelles’ first report under this convention was the Minister for Labour and Human Resource Development (MLHRD), Idith Alexander, who addressed the Committee affirming that “the government safeguards the rights of all workers in Seychelles, including migrant workers and those in the Seychelles International Trade Zone, and guarantees that they enjoy the same rights, terms and conditions of employment.
She went on to note that “migrant workers contribute significantly to the national development of Seychelles, not just in an economic and monetary manner, but also in terms of enriching our cultural diversity”, especially in view that a significant portion of the country’s labour force is composed of migrant workers.
The Committee commended Seychelles for the determined strides made so far by the government in implementing the Convention and promoting and protecting the rights of Migrant Workers and their Families, and suggested that Seychelles could be used as a model for other countries to follow. One of the areas the Committee recommended that Seychelles improve upon is its oversight upon Seychellois living and working abroad, including statistics on them.
The government looks forward to continued collaboration with the Committee in further improving its protection and promotion of the rights of migrant workers and their families in Seychelles.
Seychelles’ next periodic report under the Convention will be due in five years.
Other members of the delegation comprised Veronique Bresson, chairperson of Committee on Employment of Non-Seychellois; Susan Morel from the Ministry of Labour and Human Resource Development ; Gayethri Murugaiyan from the Foreign Affairs department; George Thachett from the Attorney General’s Office; and Myriam Telemaque from the Immigration Division.

Religious service marks re-opening of Supreme Court

The religious service at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception to mark the formal re-opening of the Supreme CourtThe need for judicial practitioners and the Seychellois people to unite even if we have diverse opinions came out clearly during the ceremony to mark the formal re-opening of the Supreme Court of Seychelles for the year 2017.
This year’s opening was held under the theme ‘Unity in Diversity’ and a religious service to that effect was held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Victoria spearheaded by the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese in Seychelles Denis Wiehe, with the participation of Archdeacon Danny Elizabeth of the Anglican diocese and Father David Alcindor, deacon of the Diocese of Victoria.
After going through a procession in Victoria, members of the judiciary proceeded to the Palais de Justice at Ile du Port where Chief Justice Mathilda Twomey delivered her speech.
Present were President of the Court of Appeal Francis MacGregor, ministers, the attorney general, judges and Master of the Supreme Court, magistrates, registrar, secretaries of state, commissioner of police, members of the diplomatic corps, bishops, attorneys at law, members of staff of the judiciary, among other guests.
Stressing on the need for unity, CJ Twomey said this year’s theme for the Judiciary, ‘Unity in Diversity’, acknowledges these principles adopted by “we the people” in our Constitution and which has been discussed several times in the past months, and featured several times in the discourse of the new President, Danny Faure and in the discussions about our National Assembly.
