2020 voters’ register certified | 01 April 2020
In accordance to Section 9 of the Elections Act 1995, the Electoral Commission Seychelles yesterday, March 31, 2020, certified the 2020 voters’ register which was closed on December 31, 2019.

The Electoral Commission has announced a tentative date for the upcoming presidential election which will take place provisionally on 22, 23 and 24 October 2020.
The announcement was made during a press conference Friday, 5 June 2020.

The Opposition lost the Presidential and the aftermath, the past 8 years the world and position of the Opposition alliance. Former Minister Pat Pillay position and the position of Rev Wankalawan. Both of these individual power base originally came from that SIROP program going back to 1986/87, They found themselves in the majority come the National election. Not once did they address the nation about that historic SIROP program, time and time we have pointed this out to them in public and private. There have been untold failures, cushioning their office and sharing their wins with those who supported them and as future president of a Regional Nation, their reaction, one expected more. The issue of the Truth Commission come a counter coup or any other Opposition win, they would have called for a Truth Commission, right across Africa, Latin america and other parts of the world. We address that Truth Committee on that SIROP program and its complexities and then the Truth Commission. We have written to them stating, had they done their work representing international benchmark, they would have sparred the world a nuclear war, major global economic situation, malfunction and financial situation and other major issue - copy to vast many global institutions, governments and NGO. Further more we have address them and others, that pandemic could and should have been avoided. Meaning had our plaint been heard the media attention and the justice international involvement and those involved, it would have created a very different world synergy and dynamic - serious politicians known how it works and the why. We now have a very macabre situation like Pirates, real pirates that SIROP program is worth gross five billions today and anybody will tell you the person who wins the presidential will control that program in Seychelles and it is alive and linked to NEOM. In their place some 30,000 new migrants. We have had the North African Spring on account of that SIROP program and we will have some kind of major upheavals in the Middle East and our pleas to those Arab nations bankrolling Seychelles many developments, do something, their position. They have seen and witnessed their respective economy get decimated by one third and closer to a global conflict. What will a Hon Wavel spin, crap the nation with and the regional or international community. We know what the SPPF and PL is all about, contents of that Truth Commission hearings. All those in Seychelles who judge that because we have reached certain age should not interfere or get involved in politics or our sight problem. .In the first place the nation ought not to forget the challenge we posed for President FA Rene and Sir James Mancham.
We have publish the AG article here on a government of national Unity his explanation. I believe I am a Seychellois all the bragging about the /constitution and the Rights of citizens enshrined or is it because I do not have black skin. I do not have Rights in that Seychelles.
We want to bring to the attention of the Attorney general office go read in our plaint file before the Truth Commission and the National Assembly Committee particular the latter, should that Truth commission handle that SIROP plaint with the due international benchmark they will hep to avoid a third world war, Major world economic collapse, situation and regional conflicts, that include Seychelles. Must I start a judicial process to get the Attorney general to read that file content and my correspondence to the commission copy to the ICJ, the ICC and countless other parties.
Further more I have spelt and written plainly had I been in another country that CORONA virus would not have happen it could have been avoided the many pleas and explanation and nobody listens.
We not address the future VP Candidate MNA Afife , he is proving to be as devious and thoroughly dishonest person. During his time in government the many instance he use and work that SIROP program to leverage and synergised his department respective issues and then completely deny that it happen. We can produce the many letter to the UN, governments, the ICJ, the European court that 2007/8 meltdown what it was all about the mega abuse of that SIROP program. Hence the reason the staff of the Commission and other are doing their best that, that SIROP plaint is not heard/presented and then they talk of Justice what Justice. Those who have accused President FA Rene people just about every form of evil the Opposition is proving no different and that SIROP program is live.
This is the third time Seychelles is dragging the world and the Region in a mega mess and then the politicians in Seychelles write how good they are, their benchmark is the best in Africa.

Part of his fortune is owned to the SIROP program if we had a half decent lawyer group of lawyers and those golliwogs of humans. The issues of his Father again the terrible benchmark of the ICC, the ICJ. We were not meant to address, bury and forget everything. Those high Officials of Malaysia who knew the great detail other wise and President Fa Rene close working with them again that SIROP program. In then Seychelles from 1986/87 the father of Mr Afeef knowledge of some of those issues and he himself and then purport he knows nothing. (We must start a national lottery to pay for those exile compensation and those who have suffered)

This week I was handed a USB pen drive containing pertinent information relating to the last elections. The information on there was simply shocking. It showed how the ruling party had simply bought their way through the last elections. Detailed information showed the name, address, sub-district, amount and purpose of financial assistance given to voters in order to secure their vote. Unfortunately, this is happening once again. It will probably get even bigger this time as the country faces a presidential and a general election.
Already there are signs that voters are being approached for financial rewards if they commit to give their vote. To show how ruthless these people are, they have the courage to even approach persons who sit on our executive committee! That’s how daring they are. They will not leave any stone unturned. Fortunately, we have strong people who will not allow themselves to be driven with money, but instead are strong and believe in their principles. That is the new character of Seychellois who want a transformation in our society. That’s the men and women we need to build the Seychelles with. This is where our pride lies.
The methods have evolved, buts the end is the same – bribery! Judging from the information on the USB drive of four years ago, I can easily deduct that it’s going to be double or treble the amount. The sad part of this bribery is that even when the leaders of that party stand up and make loud declarations against slavery, they are the very ones who appear as the auctioneers at a slave market, putting a price on the head of a voter. Some are worth over R200,000, whereas the weaker ones are valued at R1,500. The list tells a wonderful story of how under this party, our people have lost their dignity and are seen purely as objects to keep their leaders in power.
When a party treats people with such disgust and disrespect, it is obvious for all free- thinking individuals to stand up and say it is time for us to see their backs. From all the indications, it is becoming very evident that this is exactly what our people will do in October. The Seychellois will vote for the people to be handed back its freedom, justice, respect, harmony, and above all for her motherland to become a place where all her children are taken care of. So many of us have burned the midnight candle praying for this to happen.
Slavery was a sin. Modern slavery is an even greater evil, for it is now accepted that it goes against the very essence of human nature, which is freedom and free will. The fact that a baby can reject the feed that it is being offered brings out this fundamental rule that human beings are to be treated with respect and that nothing can be imposed or forced on him/her. An election is about the free choice of the voter. Trying to buy a voter or forcing a person to vote in a particular way, especially when money is used to entice the person is simply wrong. It has to be stopped.
The other side of the coin is also very important. The voter must have respect for himself/herself. It starts by recognizing your humanity. It begins by you accepting that you are not a commodity on a shelf, but that you are created in the image of God, and therefore cannot be bought. You have rights and need to be treated with respect and dignity. With this as the corner stone, you then become strong. This action will keep the slave auctioneers at bay. In return, it will help build a free society where the rights of everyone are given equal interpretation.
I believe that our people are mature enough to stand up for what is right and even call their bluff. In other words, money will not determine the results of the forthcoming election and the people will not be influenced by gifts. It is the determination of the people that will be represented on those ballot papers. The will of the people will be clearly expressed and this will be the start of rebuilding our nation after so many years of oppression, victimization, dictatorship and discrimination. I stand for a Seychelles that truly belongs to all her children.
I respect our people and I approach all her children with dignity and respect. May our Creator watch over all of us.
