We have had a brief contact with Sustainability 4 Seychelles
With the Coronavirus and those calling for alternative ways to generate money the Pronze Farm promoted from Vienna the 1978/9 Like the Orchid farm.
Under that SIROP program not President FA Rene version, the alternative version to diversify our economy the Seaweed industry then 1986/87. We had researched the issues at UNIDO Vienna 1979. In Seychelles the way they work.
Zanzibar started a small production around 1988 as a mean to provide job, employment and some income to the poor families woman and they have stuck at it - it was not easy and today the Farm production in Zanzibar - Seychelles we have abundant space some 5 years ago a person started a mulch business collecting seaweed and processing it. Under President FA Rene those who judge the workers were spoilt, we lack such labour force - today elsewhere the concept in industrialised, motorised. . The call for alternative economic model in the face of three major tourist Industry collapse.
Former President J A Michel promotion of Blue economy he completely overlooked this aspects. We have many island where this can be done commercially we have to re adapt. (All the Coconuts have been uprooted for Hotel Construction)
