The President of the Republic of Seychelles, H.E Mr Wavel Ramkalawan, acting in accordance with Article 92 (1) of the Constitution, addressed the National Assembly this afternoon, on Tuesday 17th November 2020, at 17:00hrs.
The President was welcomed by the Speaker, Hon. Roger Mancienne, The Deputy Speaker, Hon. Gervais Henrie, the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Sebastien Pillay, the Leader of Government Business, Hon. Bernard Georges, the Clerk, Mrs. Tania Isaac and the Deputy Clerk, Ms. Alexandria Faure.
H.E. Mr. Ramkalawan took this opportunity to mention a few of the current successes of his government as well as the economic and national decisions that have already been taken. He also spoke of some of the plans that will be pursued in the near future.

President Wavel Ramkalawan chaired an extra-ordinary meeting of the Cabinet yesterday, Wednesday 25th November 2020 at which a number of legal and policy memoranda were considered.

Cabinet approved additional works on the La Gogue Dam. These will include remedial works to control seepage on the right side of the embankment and provide for stability measures on the south saddle.

Cabinet was presented with the National Development Strategy 2019-2023. Following this presentation, the new administration will pronounce itself on its national priorities for the next five years and the National Development Strategy will be amended accordingly. Cabinet approved a supplementary budget for 2020.

We used to have a great Political friend in London Mr Anwar Bayat,  how he started his business in North London, some of our old Ministers living and visiting London and Mr Gerard Hoareau alive, Business man like the Davis brothers, Mr Bobby Pierre, other Mauritian business families. Mr Gerard Hoareau alive as the SNM/MPR Leader. British Refugee Council had provided me with a one bed place at Clapham Junction not far where Princess Diana had worked as a Kindergarten Teacher, The old Library, the police Station next door  and down the Road Mr Peter Chullum the owner and Editor of Mauritius News,  then 1985 at Vauxhall,  the HQ of British Refugee council . ( IN Mauritius yet to be ordained Priest Anglican Wavel Wankalawan. There is a marked contrast how our exile made politic in London and by comparison to Seychelles. Today we can big mouth present our view, had Mr Gerard Hoareau not been assassinated in 1985 - events in Seychelles, Mauritius and the Indian ocean turned out very different. The decrepit mind set of those arguing our politic,   the European can entertain such  arguments and public  debacles publish them, not so the Mauritian or Seychellois or illois and yet they have gone to British University some of them and other education.

Mauritius in 1985 economy, the Queen as Head of the Country and  PM Jugnauth in Office and Dr Ramgoolam Father as Governor General. Again his death that December 1985,  it changed the destiny of many Mauritian politicians among them his son Dr Navin Ramgoolam. Alive then Mr Guytan Duval former Minister,  Others.

It is also very important to note the structure of the underground Opposition in then Seychelles from 1979 to1986 then Priest Wavel return to  Seychelles. Also the marked difference between a Seychelles Republic politic argument and that of Mauritius in 1985 not a Republic what was tolerated as political argument. Then Bishop Felix Paul  and Bishop Chang Him,    From 1981 from London we had contributed to a percentage of Political underground opposition in Seychelles and the Region. Nobody nowhere anybody mention this.  

We had conversed with Mr Peter Chullum and other Mauritian upon the death of Dr Ramgoolam Senior -the massive vacuum, great, immense loss  that they felt and expressed.  We believe it is long overdue to start writing about it,  there were many highly complex illuminati issues being worked in London that were conducive to death,  not necessarily by gun they were your strange death. It was left to those who were in the know and understood such working to make their conclusion and what the crappy media would then write. By the same token the issues of Priest Wavel start of his early political engagement and my arguments that had we known the equation tried to balance our politic by establishment of  a stronger base in France/Paris our politic today would have been very different those who discouraged this and the why and the blasted lies and history so call truth today/ Our exile community were being controlled and manipulated along with all its political parties. We did not live in an enclosed world the many other exiles refugees communities their experiences and ordeals and fate.

It is very vexing and exasperating to hear what the government news channel come out with and such major news paper groups and those children, who were not there believing al the lies, propaganda and garbage.

Mr Rawat was personal fried of then Mr Tony Blair  and we joined him at Richmond Crescent to celebrate his election victory.  He returned to Mauritius and set up shop at the Cudan Waterfront Gallery, again that SIROP program impacting , leveraging mechanism.

President Wankalawan find himself in a very fortunate and historic position. He studied to become a priest in Mauritius,  the group of young Adventist who studied at the Phoenix Seminarian. Such education  come with responsibility one of them is not to tell blatant lies. Practice very dishonest benchmark. Added to that the office of the President of Seychelles past presidents.

Then we have Mauritius Justice system  and for many years most of our own Justice system aligned to Mauritius.

Today those who posted a video of President Wankalawan dance greetings and their interpretation in Seychelles, feed back -   how Indian culture communicate. Nobody including the many in Mauritius took the time to note either by vengeance or  political  argument mentioned that Dr Ramgoolam father had come from Bihar the same Village or county as President Wavel Grand father  that does not make them all politicians, their ancestral root,  but it is of important interests, note worthy.

The above said our publication for 32 years what happened after the SNM/MPR Leader Assassination all the older Ministers in then London who knew and the many political factions my decision to put in place that SIROP program concept. Of course I was not alone,  only a fool would  say he was alone in writing such a vast elaborate program. The initial seed,  Building block  and base come from us. That was in Spring 1986 in London, then Mr Peter Chullum,  and many other Mauritian families we were acquainted with at the time and the Mauritian SDA Church people. Again how we searched, seek political support , in Mauritius then former Minister Guytan Duval support for that SIROP program as against PM Jugnauth who was a friend of President FA Rene and Mr Paul Beranger,  those in Reunion. Then there was Minister Bollel also. Some of the elite Mauritius sugar Syndicate families still alive, Mauritius Sugar politic,  in 1985/86 there were no mobile phone as we have today,  how the news travel and for any leader writing putting in place such concept, the need to be able to get due feedback and monitor them and they must be reliable. Over the next six months, the many new politic thematic which surfaced and economic one in Mauritius, the likewise many developing institutions arguments, debacles  in Britain. In London the Mauritius Community monitored them, knew about them.

In the many address we have had a fine ear to listen /pick up any condescending communication that they were abundant.  This is the crux of the issue how corruption and dishonest benchmark works. All they can say Seychelles and Mauritius were until whatever date both British colonies. Out of the sphere of publishing media, government working,  police,  the mega Masonic and Illuminati thematic, nuances  nobody reflects this in the publish media and yet what everybody is claiming today for better accountability. Such mechanism and that mechanism of that SIROP program have high positive and negative impacts when/if mismanage. The we get African Union and its benchmark coming to benchmark the many aspect of Seychelles, Mauritius and the Indian ocean workings.

That SIROP program in Spring 1986 after the death of Mr Gerard Hoareau and the death of Dr Ramgoolam,  laid the foundation for a very different and future working between the three nations  and indeed others of the Indian Ocean. How many Universities have Mauritius got and the thousand meanwhile graduated,  the big  question when Mauritius boast of its unique economic advantages,  till how many have taken the time to read the contents we have publish and see if it make scene or the argument fits. Gone are the days when as young graduate you take your research and study cue from the institution,  education have become very liberal in Practices approach. Recently there have been a great deal of groups expressing their concerns,   anger and view of Mauritius Political and social system.  What about if a couple of serious minded graduates take that program and dissect it,  what they will discover. Over the past 25 years the older generation politicians have not been telling the truth, the national media and institutions. There have been a great deal of Spin.

We want to remind every body why we chose as logo for that program the faded/ emblem of the Old French Trading company and the big why. They set up Mauritius  and they set up Seychelles, Reunion  and financed them their respective history in India and Far East. The important reason the first three Generation of our ancestors were in that part of the world. They had been employed by them to set it up. Many other nations and communities chose to bring back to life such Arcadian workings and arguments,  in particular the USA and Canada, Quebec, Australia, New Zealand,  former South Africa.The mega   challenge to battle the  Communist system after all those had tried,  the might USA and others,  we decided that it required something more Arcadian to confront then - In our battle Communist  institutions and its networks. May be this is the argument for those to hate and disapprove that SIROP program because of what that emblem and logo represent - we are not about to change it.

Prime Minister Jugnauth stated that it is a momentous moment for President Ramkalawan to choose Mauritius for his first State Visit. And this bears testimony of the strong bond that exists between Mauritius and Seychelles. Both countries are development models for the African continent he said adding that together Mauritius and Seychelles are stronger in braving current and future challenges.
