Today as the world, celebrate the feast of Christ Baptism - the First Sunday 2009, christian belief and social practice the past 2000 years or more.

Yet we have a very dangerous and terrible situation in the Middle East the very place where Christ was born and ministered. The Battle and human carnage which have been going on for the past two weeks.

The world in recent times have witnessed many conflicts in that region. The fact that a Nation like Isreal with all its military might navy, tank planes and helicoptors and other advance military technology - cannot find a peaceful solution with a very small and very under resourced people and their political system. Instead compell to destroy everything these people and nation have expecting them to accept peace.

Isreal must not forget its archaic/ancient and Bilibical history.

On this great Christian occasion we share with our forums, our communities the death in VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Cardinal Pio Laghi, the Vatican peace envoy dispatched by Pope John Paul to Washington in 2003 in an effort to avert the U.S-led invasion of Iraq, died on Sunday, an assistant said. He was 85.

He died of a blood-related illness that he had been suffering from for some time, the assistant said. His funeral will be held on Tuesday.

A seasoned diplomat, Laghi served in the Vatican diplomatic service in Jerusalem, Latin America and the United States. He became a cardinal in 1991.

A personal friend of U.S. President George W. Bush's family, Laghi met him at the White House just before war broke out and handed over a personal letter from the pope urging him to avoid war and seek a peaceful resolution to the Iraqi crisis.

He was also sent to Jerusalem in 2001 to meet Israeli and Palestinian leaders to try to broker a ceasefire in their conflict
