Last Saturday in the Peace Park Victoria, Seychelles the unveiling of Mahatma Gandhi monument. We have not been able to visit the SNM/MPR Leader Mr Gerard Hoareau resting place for 3 years now. Yesterday had wanted to have a coffee at the Resource Centre on Holloway Rd - the VSC, other communities based their because of Covid they, the Restaurant area have been closed for two years, They supported the issues of Mandela and the South African anti apartheid and later the changing process of SA and the Truth Commission. I decided to travel to Hounslow, the road by the Police station the black refuge hooded who elbowed me, The passer by. I decided to go to Nero Cafe at the Treaty Centre and check Facebook from there and the fight which broke out and the police had to intervene. I judge it very important and historic to pay, visit to Mr Gerard Hoareau resting place, take some flowers and share the issues of the 40 odd years our community in Britain and the Asian Communities, from India and former Est Africa and the Gandhi monument -In Britain in spite of the Covid and economic downturn, the very affluent Asian communities, their properties and wealth, their belief and values - the utter and terrible disparity situation developing in our national politic the black Seychellois fate be they supporter of Mancham, Rene or LDS - that SIROP program, what it represented and the scope for the Indian ocean Seychelles Nation. The TRNUC hearing the past two years/ They all chose to be very smart arse and shoot themselves in the foot and they have properly, royally done it. They have been royally shafted. Their only solace, restitution is take more drugs and drink more, their pain and grief away - the Asian communities getting richer and acquire more properties, wealth, economic and political importance -powers. . The ongoing Court case at the Clerkenwell county court and 14 Hermitage House - the community is on the verge of loosing everything and having, reverting to operating from under bridges in London if the police will tolerate.

For a nation which has for the last 25 years been dominated principally by two political parties, it augers well that there is expressed wish for an alternative political platform, especially one for the younger generation whose aspirations seem to be very divergent to the options they are being offered today or for those who are disenchanted with what they are experiencing. It is important therefore that aspiring leaders are given the opportunity, encouraged and supported to explore new avenues for alternative governance. A third force should not been seen as ‘ spoilers’ but rather as an assurance for democracy.
