Last Friday 17/6/22, On account of events in Islington since the inauguration of the Gandhi monument - had decided to go and meet some of the people at the Resource Centre - Holloway Rd, the police. We had to catch the bus upon getting there to be quasi remonstrated by the Security that the place was closed for two years now, talked with the building receptionist. The many organisations in there who had supported the process of Apartheid change and SA Independence, rather new South Africa and the Gandhi aspect and supporters. The VSC people and that Covid the Evelyne Oldfield Unit. I had talked with the CEO. It is a pitiful very grave situation, those who have invested given their life time to building those bodies and groups>
