In light of comments from Argentina promoting hostilities towards the U.K. despite the declared will of Falkland Islanders, I have stated that "self-determination of the people must surely be paramount and consistently applied to the people of all British Overseas Territories and former colonies”. This must include the British Chasgos Islanders too. If self-determination is right for the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar, then it must also be right for the British Indian Ocean Territory!
